Ma’am, this is a deeply touching, empathetic narrative ... so beautifully brought out .. and very captivating description of a challenging journey of grief, growth and grace
The mortal body dies, relationship does not. The deceased loved one remains alive and beloved in our heart and consciousness. David Ricoh puts it so beautifully -
"In grief, there is an element of inconsolability ... yet we cannot forget, but always cherish those we loved."

Ma'am. This is absolutely wonderful. Its so difficult to understand how the story of growth and grace has grief at the bottom of it. Though, seldom, curiosity may also be a factor in such journey. That you are touching such a sensitive subject with so much understanding is truly amazing. With all the best wishes.
Indeed 'compassionate curiosity' is an integral part of this meaningful journey. You would find this and many others aspects explored in my book "Grief ~ Growth ~ Grace" (link inside the blogpost).
