well said! Im a bereaved parent. Its been 21 years- grief still lives with me though I channel it in creativity -art, writing, teaching and mindfulness. If you read my posts-you will see excerpts from my daughters and our complicated and life affirming story. I will keep on reading your posts! You are helping a lot of people, I imagine. I hope to do the same for caretakers.❤️
I shared your post today with a friend who lost both her parents within the last two years. I think it will be validating. My writing that I am sharing right now ( new to Substack this month) is an about parenting our daughter. I will also write on grief too. Sharing is new- both exciting and scary- vulnerable!
this is such a beautiful read. thank you for sharing your insight and your heart, it is inspiring. as a 25 year old who lost her mother almost 3 years ago, i am always appreciative of those that share their experiences and views on grief. it's so nice to talk about it. i have a post about mother's day and grief on my profile if you'd like to read <3 sending love
Sending prayers of healing, warmth & affirmative energy. May the bond of love between your mother and you live on. I am sure your posts & thoughts will lay the path of love & light for those on the dark journey of grief. Please share link of your post. Would love to read it.
