"At some point in our grief journey, each one of us finds a moment of spring equinox. The spring equinox is one such moment of liminal wisdom – of realizing the transience of life; of being willing to face loss and grief; of choosing to live each moment with gratitude; and re-emerging from grief with growth and grace.

So beautifully expressed. My daughter died in April. Our thundercloud plum tree ( with pink blossoms) bloomed in our front yard that very same day. I plant pansies as she and I did each year in early April. I hope this post reaches many and helps to soften some of the harshness of grief for others. Blessings.❤️
May the pansies of your daughter’s love continue to bloom in your heart & life … through April of spring & all other months. Sending you loads of love & strength ❤️
PS - it is the other equinox, the Autumn one, that took my son away. He was born around Summer solstice. Through fall, winter, spring & summer, he continues to bloom & shine in my heart.
We carry our children each and every day and through the seasons in our hearts, minds, body through every season. Wishing you the peace you find in the gardens of your homeland. I walk a labyrinth near my home fairly often. I will write about this very soon. ❤️
