Very True !! Not everyone may need professional help to live through their grief journey. But those who do, often find it hard to even sense and acknowledge their need to themselves, leave alone getting over the social stigma or awkwardness to seek help.

Thanks

Your analogy is brilliant. I never thought to think of grief experience as akin to growth pains.

The love in this: "They gently massage the kids’ sore muscles, nudge them to endure pain, let it settle naturally, and keep moving with acceptance and resilience. They help the children learn that pain is the harbinger of growth. And they prod the children to affirm their inherent capacity to bear pain, heal and grow." Hope we gather the strength to do this to ourselves from time to time..

Very insightful piece. It makes us aware of the way grief takes us through to growth to come to terms with the grief one is undergoing.

As I go through this newsletter, where grief shakes us to the core but others emerge stronger thereafter, I ask if there is an ABC on dealing with grief but with growth outcome or an easy way to apply your GROWRTH MANDALA Model.

A PDF page will do for downloading.
